Autoresponder 150x150 Autoresponder Review Which Of The Two Is The Best and Why? Aweber vs GetResponse

Introduction:

I am assuming that this post about autoresponders will be read by both beginners and experienced Internet Network Marketers. That is why I want to take the time to explain what an autoresponder is  and then go on to make the comparism of which of the two is the best.

Why Do You Need An Autoresponder?

Every good business owner understands that their business is only as strong as the the quality of their client base and how well they can be communicated with. Email is one of the most powerful and cost effective communication methods you can use with your clients and prospective clients. But managing individual emails to a large universe of people can be difficult. That’s why autoresponder emails should be in the marketing toolbox of every business person.

What Is An Autoresponder?

An autoresponder is a email system that automatically delivers a preset email or series of email. For instance, you automatically send out a thank you message once somebody signed up to receive emails from you. You could then have a series of emails going out on a predetermined interval (every week, for example) that helps you build your relationship with that person and share information about the product or service you provide. Even though you’re automating the process, most autoresponders allow you to personalize the communication by inserting your contact’s name into the message in places such as the subject line, greeting, and anywhere in the body of the message.

What Determines The Quality Of An Autoresponder?

Other important features an autoresponders offer is the ability to track: for example, it would be helpful for you to know who is opening your emails, who is clicking on links in the messages, and who is forwarding it on to a friend.

You will have a lot of people give their opinion about which autoresponder is the best but there really is not right answer. The best autoresponder is the one that works best for you and the work that you’re doing. Probably the two top companies out there providing autoresponder services are Aweber and GetResponse.

Aweber vs GetResponse As An Autoresponder:

While both companies provide autoresponder services, they are not created equally. GetResponse has the advantage when it comes to pricing. For instance, a list of 900 contacts with Aweber would cost you $29 per month while GetResponse would only run you $18 per month. The savings are similar at other subscriber levels.

A feature that Aweber has that GetResponse doesn’t is that you can have it automatically email out to your list every time you make a new post to your blog. Aweber is probably superior when it comes to getting all your emails delivered without ending up in the spam folder, for this reason they are probably the top choice.

Conclusion:

Whichever  Autoresponder  you choose, you should understand how to use it and be comfortable with the interface. Both companies have free or extremely inexpensive trial periods so you should sign up for both and try them for yourself. You need an Autoresponder for your business and you should get started today.

I’ve never used Aweber, but I have used GetResponse. I’m VERY unhappy with the professionalism of the way they handled my account – over-charging me more than once then disabling my account at the beginning of a month that is paid for instead of at the end and are not allowing me to access my personal data that is stored there and not yet exported for use with my new system….. I’ve spent more time on the phone trying to work things out than I’d have spend doing the mailing manually! I will not be using GetResponse again.

I suggest staying away from GetResponse at all cost if integrity is something you value in companies you do business with.

    Hi,
Sorry to hear that happen with you. I never use a service until I have spoken to a real person on the phone to have a feel of what their customer services is all about.
I have used aweber for 2 years now with no problem.
That might be the option for you.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Rick
